70th Anniversary EAGE Conference in Eternal City

This anniversary EAGE conference (together with SPE, the Society of Petroleum Engineers) was held under the motto “Leveraging Technology” at the Rome Exhibition and Convention Center “Nuova Fiera di Roma” on 9 - 12 June 2008 and became a landmark event in many respects.

On 19-22 May 2008 Simferopol hosted a regular meeting of Ukrainian paleontologists and their colleagues from foreign countries, which was organized by the Ukrainian Paleontological Society of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, where the main personnel of the paleontologists of Ukraine is concentrated, and the Vernadsky Taurida National University.
