International Scientific Conference Devoted to the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Academician V.G. Bondarchuk

On 13-15 May 2005, the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, at the initiative of the Geological Faculty, hosted the second international scientific-practical conference "Earth Energy, its Geological and Ecological Manifestations, Scientific and Practical Use" dedicated to the100th anniversary of the birth of Academician V.G. Bondarchuk. Among the organizers of the conference were Institutes of the Geological Profile of NASU, State Geological Service, and Ukrainian Association of Geologists.

Zlata Prague hosts AAPG Regional Conference

At the end of October, the Ukrainian State Geological Exploration Institute in Kyiv hosted an event that was extremely important for geologists: the scientific and methodological seminar “Geological Monuments of Ukraine” organized and conducted by the Department of Geological Services of the State Committee of Natural Resources of Ukraine, Ukrainian State Geological Exploration Institute, Nadra Group, Ukrainian Association of Geologists.
