The company has updated and integrated existing data and models from the Hontomin Pilot Plant into an advanced earth model using PETREL 2014™. This earth model functions as a repository for ENOS project tasks and serves as a foundation for the numerical investigation of various injection strategies. The dynamic model, employing GEM™, has been fine-tuned to align with the tests previously conducted at the Hontomin Pilot Plant.
Geostock has generously shared both models with the CEEGS project consortium as an in-kind contribution. This contribution holds significant value as it serves as a solid starting point for developing new thermodynamic models associated with CO2 underground storage.
