Workshop: “Innovation as an Integral Part of Optimizing the Educational Process of the Educational Institution”

On 18 May 2017, the secondary school № 13 named after I. Khitrichenko hosted a seminar-workshop on the theme: "Innovative activity as an integral part of the optimization of the educational process of the educational institution"


The workshop was held for the deputy directors and teachers of the geography of general educational institutions of Kyiv.

Since 2013, an experimental study “Formation of the vocational orientation of students in the course of teaching a special course “Fundamentals of Geology” has been introduced in the educational institution.

The workshop covered the following issues:

  • New forms of work within the framework of the experimental work "Depths of Earth, Depths of Soul" - Hanna Liventseva - Vice-rector of the Tutkovsky Institute, coordinator of the project "Depths of Earth, Depths of Soul", Candidate of Geological Sciences.
  • Implementation of experimental activity as a means of vocational guidance for high school students - Maryna Krochak - Associate Professor, Department of Geology of Oil and Gas, Institute of Geology, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences.
  • Problems and Prospects of Teacher's Work under the Experimental Program "Fundamentals of Geology" - Maria Reshetnik - Candidate of Geology, Candidate of Geological Sciences.
  • Increasing the efficiency of the learning process through the introduction of experimental activities - I.V. Vdovichenko - deputy director on educational work of secondary school № 13 named after I. Khitrichenko.

The workshop covered the problems and prospects of the experimental program, outlined the main ways to improve the system of the institution in the conditions of the proposed program.

The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to receive practical recommendations on the organization of the educational process in the experimental conditions.
