In 2004, the work of the summer youth geological expedition in the native Rivne region was restored. Children repeatedly participated in the skills competitions of young geologists in Kharkiv, Moscow, St. Petersburg and are sincerely grateful to the Chairman of the Ukrainian Association of Geologists P.A. Zagorodniuk for sponsorship, which made such trips possible.

With the beginning of the field season, the work of young geologists on the study of the unique places of the region will continue. Children participate in competitions to defend the research essays in the Junior Academy of Sciences, educational and health campaigns in the Carpathians ( Gorgany and Chornohora), trips to karst caves in the Ternopil region, travelling to the Crimea, Lviv, Lutsk, Kyiv.
