Purpose of the conerence:
- identifying prospects for the development of the mineral resource potential of the Polissya region for the effective attraction of investments in the development of the region;
- studying the experience of world-class achievements on the example of the discovery and exploration of the Perzhansk beryllium deposit - the most powerful in the world;
- involving leading domestic and foreign experts to consider the geological conditions for the formation of the Perzhansk beryllium deposit as the world exclusive - the only genthelvin deposit, the first in the Precambrian and the new ore formation - alkaline metasomatites;
- discussing the amber problem and the best ways to solve it;
- identifying high-performance mining and mineral exploration technologies.

The conference was opened by Leonid S. Haletskyi, Head of the Department of Minerals of the Institute of Geological Sciences of NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Professor, Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR for 1979, one of the discoverers of the Perzhansk deposit
It is symbolic that the memorial in honor of the discovery of the Perzhansk beryllium deposit was made of Perzhansk granite and installed in the courtyard of the school where the administration of the Perzhansk Geological Party was once housed. None of the children will be indifferent to the stone cliff with the inscription "Geological prospectors of the Perzhansk beryllium deposit of world importance"! The grand opening of the memorial took place in the presence of teachers and students of the local school, former employees of the Geoparty Party.
Despite the difficult conditions for the country, the event was held by the efforts of the organizing committee and the interest of local authorities.
Special thanks to the organizers for this wonderful event! The location of the seminar, the hospitality, and sincerity of the hosts, the coherence of the work of all the members of the organizing committee were very great.
