Seven teams took part in the quest:
- Team of the Geology Club of the Department of Tourism and Regional Studies of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth,
- Team of the Rusanovsky Lyceum,
- Team of the 8 grades of the Karbyshev Secondary School No. 2,
- Team of the 9B grade of the Karbyshev Secondary School No. 2,
- Team of the Secondary School No. 13,
- Team of 8A grade of the Secondary School No. 167,
- Team of 10B grade of the Secondary School No. 256.
During the quest, the teams searched for exhibits dedicated to the natural resources of certain regions of Ukraine and answered questions by finding clues in the museum halls.
Those who correctly identified the region of the exposition and answered the questions correctly received the appropriate part of the map of Ukraine and colored cards for the answers.
The quest was dynamic and fun. Pupils tried to find answers carefully, studied the stands, viewed museum exhibits, read signs, and listened to radio guide records. The museum staff has never seen such a persistent search for the truth of visitors.
According to the jury, all the teams coped with the tasks, compiled a map of Ukraine and showed their good knowledge. All teams were winners, dividing I, II and III places among themselves and received diplomas, souvenir sets of minerals and sweet prizes. The sponsor of the quest was the Ukrainian Association of Geologists.
The quest "Natural Resources of Ukraine" was organized by the head of the Geology Club at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth Maryna Krochak, Researcher of the geological department of the Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Maria Reshetnyk, and the representative of the Ukrainian Association of Geologists Hanna Liventseva.
