We have some important news: the board meeting of the European branch of AAPG proposed to hold a regional AAPG conference in Ukraine!
The topics of the reports (348 in total) at the conference were divided into two thematic sections that could satisfy the most demanding requests of oil geologists: regional issues and specialized issues.
The Black Sea section was very interesting, demonstrating achievements in understanding the geological structure and evolution of the basin, as well as the latest successes in oil and gas exploration in this region. Ukraine was presented by informative reports delivered by the subsidiary company "Oil and Gas Industry Research Institute".
