The Report was prepared by the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine with funding from UNICEF Ukraine. It is based on official materials provided by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), the State Geological Survey of Ukraine, the State Agency for Water Resources of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the State Ecological Inspection of Ukraine, Kyiv city state administrations, and local self-government bodies.
Furthermore, the report discusses the status of reforms and development in the water supply and wastewater disposal systems, the implementation of new management practices in enterprises, and the improvement of regulatory and financial frameworks.
